Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to customize the Software Updates notifications and settings? e.g "recently installed software requires your computer to restart in...", "your computer is about to restart". Or change the frequency of reminders?
I can see in Administration, Client Settings, Computer Agent, I can change the Organization Name in the Software Center. And in Computer Restart I change the timings for the restart countdown and the on-screen message.
Currently in 2012 (like I had in 2007), my workstation deployments are set to install updates ASAP but not restart. My server deployments are set to install update and reboot, but this is only possible during the server collection's maintenance window.
One question I have is if it could be possible to trigger a countdown for workstations to restart automatically? e.g. 3 days after installation, and out of hours - e.g. between 1am and 6am.
I want the workstations to install updates ASAP, but don't want force people to reboot that day. That evening is fine. But for people who refuse to ever restart their PCs, I'd like to force a reboot after a few days? Is this feasible?
