Deploying software updates to large collection

hi guys,

i have a collection of 500+ workstations. I want to deploy software updates to this collection.

Are there any implications of deploying to a large collection - does DP distribute the content in phases or all at once, just concerned of network utilization - anything you can shed light on in this respect?
