Error 0x80070643 at APPx Updates via SCCM/WSUS

Hi @all,

within the last MS Patchday, our clients are running into error code 0x80070643 while the listed KBs trying to install.

They all are related to Bing apps (Mail, Calendar, People, Maps, Travel, Sports, Healt & Fitness...).

Within our enterprise image V1, those apps have been deleted during the client installation, so they are not available anymore (deleted, not hidden). Within our Image V2, the apps are not deleted anymore, those clients are not affected of the errors.

Why does WSUS/SCCM not recognize, that those KBs are not needed on the clients, we deleted them?

They are listed as required in software updates list for all clients.

Due to the two different Images within our environment (25.000 Clients, about 90% with Image V1) we need to deploy the KBs.

Is there any possibility WSUS can handle those KBs correctly for devices with "uninstalled" APPx Software?

Within nearly the last 24 month we are running Windows 8.1 Update 1 this kind of error was not appearing.
