Hi,
we are using SCCM 2012 for software updates. I ran into the well-known problem with update KB2817630. It appears that even Microsoft announces they have removed the patch from Microsoft Update, it is still alive and happy in SCCM 2012, ready to be installed
in test collections where it was already deployed.
I'm wondering: Shouldn't a removed update more or less be "thrown out", after it is removed from MS Update, and SCCM synchronizes itself with MS? Now it wasn't, even the SUP has synchronized itself successfully several times after the removal announcement.
Is this really the case: Do I have to go manually removing all broken/removed updates, or should they disappear automatically during the next synchronization? Or is something going wrong at this end?
I'm really thinking I must stop syncing SUP every day - maybe once a week every monday would be good :)
