No scheduled scan performed

I have configured Antimalware Policies in SCCM 2012 to include a weekly full scan. Everything has worked fine, but I've noticed recently that any new machines I add to our network are not performing their weekly scan. When I open the SCEP client on any of these machines, it shows that the weekly full scan is scheduled, both under the Home tab and under the Settings tab:

I check the Windows event logs around the time of the scheduled scan and there are no error messages and no information messages that indicate a scan failed or even that a scan was attempted. Machines that have been on our network for a while are not having issues, its the newly added machines that are not scanning. Anyone know how I can further troubleshoot this issue?
