I need to use System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager to update my machines. I already have WSUS server in place which has been used to update my machines. I wonder if it is possible to use existing WSUS along with System Center, but use the System Center to update the machines. I tried configuring System Center 2012 R2, but it did not work until I installed WSUS on the System Center 2012 R2 primary machine. I wonder if there is any scenario that WSUS and SCCM are installed on different machines, but SCCM is used to update the machines with having the WSUS installed on SCCM machine. I also wonder which server I should point my clients to in the GPO settings that we usually do for WSUS. Does it need to refer to SCCM or WSUS. Thanks a lot.
