Windows Updates in SCCM 1511 - SQL 2012 SP 3 Update Automatically Downloaded

We update all servers/clients monthly through SCCM.  Recently we upgraded to SCCM 1511.  Our normal process is to go through and remove any superseded or expired updates from previous deployments, and then download any new applicable updates from Microsoft through the Software Update Point in SCCM.  We do this because we found downloading a revised update that was superseded but previously deployed would start rolling out immediately.  That is unless we removed the superseded update from the older software update.  That's all fine, we worked it into our process for update deployments.

The only automatic downloads/deployments we have are relating to Endpoint Protection/Windows Defender, or the new Windows 10 Servicing.

This afternoon, we had a strange issue.

KB3072779 was revised this afternoon, 1/25/16 at 12:58 PM by Microsoft.  This is the SQL 2012 SP 3 update.   It was downloaded to our SCCM server.  Because it was a revision of a previously deployed update, it started deploying to our servers and users with SQL 2012 installed.

This is all expected behavior except for the auto-download of this revised update.  Any ideas why it would've auto-downloaded to our Software Update Point?  We haven't seen this before.
