I appreciate I should possibly head to a Windows update forum, but I know 2775511 is often discussed in our forum too.
Config Mgr 2012 R2 SP1 (5.00.8239.1000) single hierarchy site, deploying to Win 7 SP1 x86/x64.
Scenario: I have added 2775511 to updates being delivered to production with few problems to the 4000 clients I have rolled-out to so far. However, at a couple of offices once the client has been deployed roll-up patching gets under-way but when 2775511 starts installing it grinds the computer to a halt slowly but surely. Memory util rockets for ccmexec.exe but bear in mind I have tried manual install. If left alone it might complete the install anything up to 6 hours later. Removing the patch from the SUG and all is fine otherwise. I have also attempted manual installation to the same (on non-CM clients). I have updated the WUA to October 2015 to no success and tried resetting WMI (urgh!) to limited success but still have problems. I suspect issues with their build but these are offices in US and Asia totally unconnected with each other (OSD not done by us, and often using Ghost of CloneZilla....). My OSD via TS has the update integrated and no problem, likewise sites that use MDT/WSUS.
Has anyone had any experience of this problem when deploying 2775511 either manually or via ConfigMgr? Scratching my head!
