Hello,
I have two issues. The first one is cleaning up "products" in the Software Update Point properties > products tab that were put there by my SCUP server. In the Products tab, I see many instances I made while troubleshooting and attempting to deploy CU4. For example Microsoft - Local Publish, Microsoft - Local Publish v2, etc. Most of them have been removed from SCUP, but I was wondering if there was a way to clean them up in SCCM so I don't see them anymore. Maybe modifying the SCCM database? I've tried the cleanup wizard in WSUS and SCUP and that doesn't seem to do the trick. I've found articles about cleaning up orphaned updates, but that doesn't apply to this situation.
Now, on to the main problem. I'm trying to deploy R2 CU4 patch via its SCUP catalog. This is the first time SCUP is being used in my environment. I have generated the WSUS self-signed certificate, put it in a GPO, put the cert in the root and publishers store on the SCUP/SCCM/WSUS server, and have set the GPO to allow installation from signed intranet locations. I pasted the updates log below. I should also mention that, as a control, I also imported the latest Flash into SCUP and that deploys perfectly to machines. So it's just something with my CU4 updates.
One thing I noticed is that it has an issue with the signing certificate. "Trusted Publisher: No", yet the Adobe updates I ran were successful and the had "Trusted Publisher: Yes". So why wouldn't it like my certificate if I followed all the procedures to setup SCUP?
