Hello I would like to speed up our OSD deployment by adding in all required updates to our WIM file. I have our WIM file open with DISM and I have selected "Get packages from WIM" this has given me a list of packages some state "installed" while others are "pending"?
Why would a package thats part of the WIM be pending shouldn't that already be installed?
Do I add all security updates as well as Office and .Net what if they don't have Visio installed for example?
Whats the easiest way to manage which updates to add to production WIM? Compare to current production then do what?
