We have 2 groups doing patch deployment. 1 to servers and 1 to clients. We have been patching clients with SCCM 2012 for a while now without any real issues. We are about to bring in servers and I was working on permissions/scoping.
One thing I noticed was that when a software update group gets created by an ADR, it seems to be apply all scopes. Is there any way to limit the scopes applied? I thought it was because I created the ADR and have access to all scopes but I also
created an ADR under a restricted user and it did the same thing. Does anyone else have any experience with this scenario where they only want specific scopes applied by a software update group created by an ADR? Thanks
